What are the varieties of silk fabrics? What are their characteristics?

    The variety characteristics of silk fabrics are introduced as follows:
    1. Double crepe: After high-temperature shaping, it has good wrinkle resistance. The fabric has a stable structure, high saturation of printing and dyeing, and bright color. The advantage of heavy crepe is that the fabric has better drape and stronger wrinkle resistance.  
This type of silk is woven more finely, less prone to snagging, more durable, and has a natural luster when held in the hand, but it is not as shiny as satin and is also easier to maintain.  

    2. Qiaoqi: There are thin and transparent Qiaoqi and rotten flower Qiaoqi, as well as thick and sticky heavy Qiaoqi. The advantage of Qiaoqi lies in its graceful and lightweight design; The advantages of a heavy Qiao are its stiffness, strong resilience, and good drape.  
Qiaoqisha can be said to be the most commonly used fabric. The characteristic of Qiaoqisha is that it is lightweight and transparent. When used as a skirt in summer, it has a graceful beauty and is very suitable for young women. However, this fabric is prone to snagging and wrinkling, and is not durable. I myself am not very careful about it. Often, a skirt is snagged several times before it is worn twice, which is heartbreaking. Heavy Qiaoqisha is woven with fine Qiaoqisha, which has a higher density and heavier weight. Therefore, it is much better in terms of texture, sagging, wrinkle resistance, and durability.  

    3. Mulberry satin: It is a common silk fabric with clear and antique texture, and is very noble.  
This is something I rarely see and I'm not quite sure about. I don't know if it refers to silk with patterns? I have made some pearl satin fabrics before, satin fabrics, but the texture is very special and very expensive due to the embossed patterns on the fabric.

    4. Plain satin: a conventional fabric in silk fabrics, with a bright satin surface that is very noble, smooth to the touch, and dense in structure; The shrinkage rate of this fabric is relatively large, and its luster decreases after being soaked. This is the silk fabric that many people have in mind, the material for making cheongsams, with a smooth luster like pearls, bright colors, and beauty! This fabric feels great when held in your hand, so when selling satin clothes, buyer satisfaction is usually high; This fabric is prone to wrinkling, so after ironing, it becomes smooth and can perfectly shine its luster; Satin is a very noble fabric, and in fact, some designs made with this fabric are really beautiful, noble and highly branded.
